Chamber at Cornish -- July 24 - 29, 2017

Together with colleagues Sean Osborn, clarinetist extraordinaire of NOCCO and the Seattle Chamber Music Society and Joseph Gottesman, Director of Seattle Conservatory of Music's Chamber Music Program, Heather teaches and directs Cornish College of the Arts' Summer Chamber Music Workshop . This year's program runs from July 24 - 29, 2017 and is open to experienced string, wind and piano students ages 13 - 21. Students are placed in two different ensembles, morning and afternoon, according to their level. Students perform for each other in a friendly setting on a daily basis and present a public concert on the final Saturday.

Our passionate faculty of professional chamber musicians offers an in-depth week of rehearsal, master classes, performing, and fun! These days, more diverse skills are demanded of young musicians; chamber music skills including communication, group dynamics, and interpretation are at the top of the list!

Tuition is $475 and a recording is required for placement in an appropriately challenging ensemble.
